DFL is looking for innovators to develop new applications powered by Bundesliga’s new 3D tracking system. The goal is to validate real-world use cases, leverage completely new data depth and explore partnership opportunities that can scale across the DFL ecosystem.

The DFL Ecosystem
The DFL operates within a highly interconnected ecosystem that brings together a broad range of stakeholders across German and international football. Understanding this structure helps solution providers identify where innovations may later be applied.
- Clubs: 36 professional clubs of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2, including their sporting, performance, analytics, media and operations departments. Clubs are the primary users of many centrally provided technologies and services.
- Sportec Solutions: The DFL’s technology and data provider (joint venture), operating central systems including match data collection, officiating technology, video infrastructure and performance data services.
- Media Partners: National and international broadcasters and digital media companies who hold audiovisual rights and distribute Bundesliga content worldwide.
- Commercial & Technology Partners: Strategic partners such as AWS, suppliers, and innovation-driven companies who collaborate with the DFL on data products, infrastructure, research or operational technologies.
- Betting & Integrity Partners: Partners who use official match data for betting markets, integrity monitoring, fraud detection and real-time data services. These stakeholders operate under strict licensing and regulatory frameworks.
- DFL Digital Sports: Bundesliga’s own ecosystem of digital channels, including websites, apps, streaming products and social platforms, where digital experiences and content formats are delivered directly to fans.
