Innovative heat demand analysis
#SmartHome #SustainableHeating #HeatDemand
With regard to sustainability and cost efficiency, innovative heating systems are increasingly in the focus. But which system suits which house and which consumer in order to function efficiently and sustainably? You can join MVV & beegy in developing smart and sensor-based analysis models for the heating requirements of private properties.

What is MVV’s vision for the digital world of tomorrow?
The focus of our vision is the photovoltaic system with battery storage, through which our customers can produce and consume their energy more independently and sustainably. However, especially in conjunction with electromobility and modern heating solutions, this initially increases the complexity of energy supply for the end customer. How much electricity do I generate, when and for what purpose do I need it? When do the batteries of my electric vehicle need to be charged? Do I store excess electricity in my storage unit, do I use it for heating, or do I feed it into the grid? All these questions require the networking of the individual components, the intelligent control of which is only made possible by digitalization. Here I can act actively e.g. from my smartphone or let the entire system be directed by the intelligence in the background based on my parameters and habits. Overall, we see digitization as an important pathfinder of change towards sustainability, as a declared goal of MVV Energie.
What values are important when it comes to the digital future?
Trust in competence, but also in data protection and data security, is very important for solution providers in the domestic environment. This is all the more true for energy supply companies, as they are dealing with critical infrastructure that is part of our daily lives and must be reliably provided. In the digital environment, speed in inquiries, offers and problem solutions is becoming even more important. Here, energy supply companies are faced with a special challenge, since a 100% solution can traditionally take up more time, but the customer might also be satisfied with 90%.
What potentials does beegy bring to shape a digital and sustainable future together with the digital generation?
- The energy industry is facing the challenge of transforming its business models and processes towards climate neutrality like hardly any other industry. MVV embarked on this path at a very early stage, but of course it is far from over.
- New customer solutions based on networking and digitalization make the abstract topic of renewable energy tangible and customizable (beegy)
- More and more sustainable generation plants in addition to photovoltaics in the home sector, also in large format, e.g. through wind turbines of our subsidiaries juwi and windwärts. In addition to digital control, topics such as predictive maintenance are particularly relevant here
- A modern working environment with established digital tools for collaboration, many future-oriented projects and motivated colleagues
